Mass YG Exit: Stars Find New Homes, But Lee Sung-kyung and Lee Soo-hyuk Still in Limbo

As YG Entertainment ends its actor management business, more stars are seeking new agencies. Amid this, attention is turning to those who still haven’t found a new home.
On the 7th, CAM announced, “Joo Woo-jae has signed an exclusive contract with CAM. We are thrilled to embark on a new journey with him, an actor who embodies both public appeal and unique charm. We will spare no effort in supporting his creative and unrestricted activities.”
Joo Woo-jae, who began his acting career with the web drama “I’m Not A Girl Anymore,” has showcased his talent in works like “Love Alert,” “8 Years,” “Please Don’t Date Him,” and **”Strong Girl Nam-soon.” With Joo securing a new agency, the number of actors remaining at YG has dwindled to around 10.

In January, YG announced a restructuring to focus on its core music business, discontinuing its actor management operations.
Following this, Gal So-won revealed via her SNS that she was leaving YG, while Cha Seung-won, Kim Hee-ae, and Seo Jung-yeon successively moved to KeyEast.

Last month, Son Ho-jun established the new agency 333 Management, with Yoo Seung-ho also joining to mark a fresh start.
However, many actors still haven’t found new representation. Among them, KARA’s Han Seung-yeon mentioned in an interview after the finale of “The Scandal of Chunhwa” last month, “I am a bit worried. Still, I believe my work will speak for itself. Since this isn’t my first time changing agencies, I don’t feel too burdened.”

The next moves of actors like Lee Soo-hyuk (currently starring in “Good Day”), Lee Sung-kyung (performing in the musical “Aladdin”), and Yoo In-na (actively running her YouTube channel “Yooin Radio”) remain undecided, drawing keen interest.

Given their strong individual fandoms, these actors are likely to join agencies experienced in handling fan meetings. As YG’s former actors begin their new chapters, all eyes are on those still with the company to see where they’ll land next.
